The wet season brings daily rain with the worst falling between December to February. The hot and sticky rainy season lasts October to April with downpours that can obscure all visibility. From June to August, the temperature drops slightly and there is usually a refreshing cool breeze in the air. Humidity is high during the rainy season and better in the dry season.The popular dry season, referred to as "summer" by the locals even it is the southern hemisphere, but cooler and much more pleasant. The best time to visit is during the dry season from April to October.

A fishing village and tourist resort in Bali, located south of Ngurah Rai Airport and the main town of Kuta. Fantastic surfing and breathtaking natural attractions are the big drawcards to Jimbaran Bay.

The Ngurah Rai International Airport also known as the Denpasar International Airport, is 15 kilometers from the city and has 2 terminals, used by both international and domestic flights. It has regular international flight services from Europe, Australia, America, and most Asian countries. Bali is well-connected to most of Indonesia and has regular domestic flights connecting it to major cities within the country.
